Ayça Alaylı

Ayça Alaylı formerly worked as an education specialist at AÇEV (Mother Child Education Foundation) in Turkey where she focused on early childhood and care for especially disadvantaged groups e.g. children with limited access to education, children living in poverty or refugee children. She has research experience in diverse fields (populations with social and economic disadvantages) with a main interest in early childhood period among both typically and atypically developing children (e.g. children with disabilities, reared in institutions).

She has been recently involved in a research project about inclusive education and social support systems across Europe. She is now working in collaboration with VBJK about developing a competent system for pre-primary workforce in low-middle income countries.
