QualFDC | Enhancing Quality in Family Day Care

QualFDC is an Erasmus+ KA2 peer learning project that focuses on family care in Ireland, Denmark and Flanders (Belgium). For this purpose, VBJK has a collaboration with Vlaams Welzijnsverbond in Flanders. The aim of the project is mainly on strengthening the competence of family care.

There is a strong focus on learning, teaching and training activities (LTTAs) with 4-day study visits:

• in Flanders, organized by VBJK and Vlaams Welzijnsverbond and in collaboration with Agency Opgroeien;

• in Denmark, hosted by Aarhus Univeristy;

• in Ireland, organized by Early Childhood Ireland (coordinator QualFDC).

Each country develops a country report with specific information about their ECEC system and the context of family care.
